Comfortably Numb Recorded Today!

We got the basic tracks done today… keyboards, bass, drums, and flute. All went well.

Now we will be doing numerous overdubs, and will probably finish in January.

I think this will be an exciting new version of this Pink Floyd classic.

I Thought I Was Seeing Things! Eric & Celine?

I went around the world last night, googleing myself, videos, etc. Much to my surprise, on one site, I was on a list of three. My “Black Orpheus” video was listed with Eric Clapton & Celine Dion. Crazy!!!  And then I noticed that my videos were appearing on all kinds of sites, and folks like John Coltrane, Eric Dolphy & Miles Davis were right next to me. This is just too nuts to believe. Must be a fluke or something. That lofty league is sacred ground. I had to play my “I am not worthy tape”, so that my head wouldn’t hit the ceiling!  I don’t know how these videos are getting circulated so far & wide, but they are really out there. Page after page of sites that have them… even my silly TV interview, where the interviewer says “The flute is not really the hippest of instruments”, and a few other tidbits… like the only famous flutist he could think of was Ian Anderson from Jethro Tull, etc.   When my video of Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb” hits the net, it’s gonna be a whole new day in paradise.
